Farm Features & Amenities
Covered Arena

The 250 X 150 covered arena is an ideal size for training for shows. It is complete with the 100%  dust-free, TravelRight footing by FootingFirst. Used by Olympian’s McLain Ward, Chris Kappler, and Ian Miller, TravelRight footing is a silica sand, fiber and rubber mixture which provides excellent traction, stability, and cushion. Resembling natural turf, TravelRight provides the most advanced footing for sound riding and jumping. It is truly a perfectly balanced surface where horses perform best. The arena is adorned with 40 LED light fixtures which provides a shadow-free riding experience, meeting the farm’s goals for rider and horse safety.

European Style Horse Exerciser

With horse comfort in mind, Seven Hills has the widest commercial 6 horse exerciser on the market. The 72ft diameter reduces stress on tendons and ligaments and the perfectly irrigated footing provides optimal conditions for the equine athletes to complete the conditioning program. Seven Hills offers exerciser packages for client horses.

Bridle Path

The beautifully groomed bridle path around the property has rolling hills for trot sets and hill work, ideal for conditioning the equine athlete. With views of Kennesaw Mountain, Ted Turner’s lake, and the beautiful stone work of the barn, the bridle path is also great for warm ups, cool downs and unwinding after a ride.

Paddocks

The 15 paddocks have double fencing so a horse in one paddock is separate from a horse in an adjacent paddock. There are all sizes of paddocks which allow for better matching of the individual needs of a horse. The paddocks are well maintained by Seven Hills dedicated grounds team. Paddocks are seeded, aerated and fertilized on a consistent schedule. Paddocks are “picked” on a regular basis. Seven Hills built drainage systems on the property equal in class to any major city. These drainage systems of retention tanks and extensive underground piping are designed to move excess water into appropriate places. This effort eliminates standing water and erosion. Seven Hills collaborated with Equine Medical Associates to select the right type of grass for its paddocks to ensure the best grazing experience for Seven Hills horses.

Grass Jumping Field

Clients can enjoy hacking their horse on the spacious jump field, complete with a bank jump and jump course. To avoid the slippery, hard clay that Georgia is known for, premium footing is mixed in the top soil to provide traction and cushion. The irrigation system keeps the grass strong and top soil in ideal conditions for riding.

Round Pen

The 65ft enclosed round pen with premium footing and irrigation provides an ideal area for lunging and training young horses. The large round pen is also a great place for beginner riders in the Seven Hills Farm lesson program to learn horsemanship skills.
